SKATE FOR A CAUSE

The Sheckler Foundation is excited to announce its next Skate for a Cause, on International Go Skateboarding Day, Saturday, June 21, 2025. This year we are offering our community 2 fun ways to participate in our family friendly fundraising event. Skaters, family, friends and sponsors are encouraged to create a team to raise funds and awareness of the Sheckler Foundation and our programs that better lives through skateboarding. Our goal is to see our Sheckler Foundation family all over the world come together and SKATE FOR A CAUSE on International Go Skateboarding Day 2025!  Are you in? 

• Option #1 (In Person) Fundraising local skaters and their teams are invited to Sandlot Training Center private skatepark for a fun day of skating, food, a fun zone and social interaction with the skateboarding community.
• Option#2 Not local? Create a fundraising team and go out and skate in your community on Go Skateboarding Day!

How it works:

1. Register for Skate for a Cause. You don’t have to be a skater to join a team. Skaters and Homies (non-skaters) are welcome to join us.
2. You can choose to lead a team, as a captain, or join a friend's team.
3. Teams are limited to 12 participants.
4. Send email through your peer-2-peer page inviting your family and friends to sponsor you team.
5. Join your team on Saturday, June 21st to skate at “Sandlot Training Center” or another location, if your team is not able to join us in person.

What’s included:

All registered Skater/ Homies receive an event t-shirt.

All registered Skater/ Homies will be invited to Sandlot Training Center skatepark on Go Skateboarding Day, June 21, 2025.

Event will feature food vendors, sponsor activations and fun zone.

Prizes:

1. Teams that raise over $1200 and individuals that raise more than $100 will receive free food, drink, and fun zone tickets.
2. Teams that raise over $3500 and individuals that raise more than $500 will receive a free Sandlot Times complete Skateboard deck.
3. The Team that raises the most money will be invited back to Sandlot Training Center Skatepark for a private skate party for their team. Winners will also receive prizes 1 and 2 listed above.
